Identifies which countries have adopted food-based dietary guidelines as part of their nutrition and public health strategies.

Relevance

Dietary guidelines provide advice on foods and eating patterns that promote health and prevent nutritional deficiencies and noncommunicable diseases.

Treatment of Missing Values

Countries with missing data are either ones that do not have policies or it is unclear if they have a national policy.
