Proportion of the population age 15 years and older who consumed at least one vegetable the previous day or night.


Vegetables are universally recommended in dietary guidelines. The WHO recommends consuming at least 400 g of fruits and vegetables per day. Consumption of fruits and vegetables have been associated with decreased risk of micronutrient deficiencies and noncommunicable diseases.
